Our Company is looking for long-term employees that we can invest in and grow with as we pursue our mission of being the premier commercial truck dealer group.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>General Job Description</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>This position will manage Dobbs Truck Leasing sales and operational functions for the assigned district to achieve planned sales, service, and expense control objectives while adhering to the company&rsquo;s established procedures for business conduct, safety, and personnel administration. The District Manager works with the Dobbs Truck Leasing team, supporting all functions for day-to-day operations. As a team, the focus will be on enhancing operating efficiencies, improving customer satisfaction and attaining established targets.</p> <p>The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. Responsibilities: <p><strong>Sales</strong></p> <ul> <li>Directly responsible for all aspects of the sales process to an assigned customer and prospect base as directed by the Vice President of Dobbs Leasing.</li> <li>Manages all sales activities for Sales Representatives within assigned District to help ensure that company quotas and goals are met.</li> <li>Reviews all contractual rating to ensure the rating guidelines as set forth by the company are adhered to at all times.</li> <li>Manages company CRM system to ensure that it is complete at all times.</li> <li>Manages the expedient sale of rental, expired RPO and off lease units. Service Operations</li> <li>Create action plans for continuous improvement.</li> <li>Monitor safety and environmental compliance and advise senior management of potential risks.</li> <li>Work with service team to assess daily work operations to enhance the district's efficiency and productivity opportunities to enhance operations. This includes but is not limited to PM currency, customer downtime, work in progress (WIP), cost per mile analysis, damage re-bills and repair workflows.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Administration</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work with Administrative team to ensure that all aspects of PacLease administrative tasks are met and compliant. This includes but is not limited to insurance, billing, fuel tax reporting. Over / under mileage review and vid log compliance.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Rental Operations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversees the reservations for rental and RPO (Rental Purchase Option) agreements for all sales team members within assigned district.</li> <li>Monitors the tracking and management of the physical location and yard presentation of rental and RPO units.</li> <li>Regularly reviews all rental unit book values cross referenced with fair market values and rental utilization status for sales feasibility evaluation.</li> <li>Develop and coordinate marketing programs/strategies and aggressively pursue credit worthy prospects.</li> <li>Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and suppliers to maximize sales and profitability of rental equipment.</li> <li>Monitors the approval of all transactions to ensure appropriate equipment for customers, as well as appropriate margins to maximize profitability as well as long term customer relationships.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Used Truck Operations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manages the return and sale of expired lease and rental vehicles. This includes but is not limited to assuring that vehicles to not run past their contracted lease term, assuring that off lease vehicles are made ready for sale and are advertised within 14 days of being returned, managing all sales deals to assure that the pricing, terms and conditions set by the company are met at all times.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Minimum Job Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree with an emphasis on business or transportation; or equivalent work experience.</li> <li>10 years of experience in the truck/transportation industry.</li> <li>2 years of leasing/rental experience.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Desired Job Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in customer service.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li> <li>Strong organization, communication, leadership, and managerial skills.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Mental Capability Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Comprehension:</strong>&nbsp;Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues, negotiate, and integrate different viewpoints.</li> <li><strong>Organization:</strong>&nbsp;Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on long-term basis.</li> <li><strong>Reasoning &amp; Decision Making:&nbsp;</strong>Ability to make decisions with significant impact on department&rsquo;s credibility, operations, and services.</li> <li><strong>Communication:</strong>&nbsp;Ability to formulate complex and comprehensive materials, such as legal documents, authoritative reports, official publications of major scope and impacts, and make formal presentations.</li> <li><strong>Mathematics:&nbsp;</strong>Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and develop forecasts and computer models.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
