Overview: Doeren Mayhew is seeking an Analyst in our Strategic Advisory Group.&nbsp; This role encompasses projects related to: M&amp;A, profitability analysis, due diligence, financial modeling data stratification, strategic and management consulting for clients in a vast array of industries.
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Building, updating, and maintaining financial modeling used for conducing financial analysis.</li> <li>Client and deal management and production of client deliverables.</li> <li>Conducting market and economic research.</li> <li>Segmenting and analyzing financial data for valuation and strategic analysis.</li> <li>Assisting with the creation of client presentations and documentation production for contractual, due diligence, and regulatory purposes.</li> <li>Consolidating and organizing target and prospect lists and internal business development databases.</li> <li>Communicating with clients in a variety of industries.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.</li> <li>GPA of 3.2 or higher in college coursework.</li> <li>A minimum of 1 year of experience (including internships) in a professional services firm (financial analysis, consulting, or audit), or in an industry financial analysis/research role.</li> <li>A high degree of competence using MS Excel and PowerPoint relative to experience level.</li> <li>Strong financial analytic and modeling skills: <ul> <li>Ability to think through alternative analysis scenarios. Demonstrated ability to understand the linkages between balance sheet, income statement, and cash flows.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build robust and dynamic financial models that are logically constructed and graphically clean from a presentation perspective.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to take initiative.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.</li> <li>High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.</li> </ul>
