Overview: Doeren Mayhew is seeking a Manager in our Valuation and Litigation Support Group.
Responsibilities:  Management of business valuation, commercial litigation and fraud/forensic engagements.  Manage a team of staff and senior staff level associates.  Earn and/or maintain one or more related professional designations.  Conduct market and industry research using a variety of resources.  Performance of financial modeling and analysis.  Prepare supporting documents for valuation and litigation cases.  Assist with compiling, analyzing and documenting facts for matters in litigation.  Preparing and/or reviewing schedules, calculations, work papers, reports, and other documents.  Frequent phone, email or in-person communication with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.  Assist with the professional development of other staff members.  Routinely review industry related publications or attend conferences/seminars to stay well-informed of technical matters.  Direct involvement with Shareholders on significant department issues such as recruiting, evaluations, marketing, process improvement, etc.  Actively participate in various marketing and networking events.
Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.  6 - 12 years of related experience in the areas of litigation support, business valuation, fraud/forensics, mergers/acquisitions, or corporate finance.  Attainment of or advancement toward a designation (CPA, ABV, CFA, ASA, CFE, etc.).  Strong academic credentials (GPA, GMAT, ACT, SAT, Etc.).  Experience in managing a team of 3 or more staff or senior staff level associates.  Ability to manage multiple projects at a time with little Shareholder level oversight.  Strong computer skills (including advanced financial modeling and Excel experience).  Strong written and verbal communication skills.  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  Creative problem solving skills including the ability to formulate conclusion that are logical and well supported.  Strong inter-personal skills including ability to interact with clients, attorneys, and other professionals.  Professional appearance and demeanor.
