We are expanding quickly, and are seeking a Senior Project Manager to help us reach the next level.</p> <p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p> <p>We need a Senior Project Manager to join our Professional Services team and lead large and small scale professional service project implementations for diverse clients in the financial services industry. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of project engagements from scoping, initiation, tracking and reporting to closing and billing.</p> <p><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <p>You are part of a PMO or you would like to return to working as part of one. You&rsquo;re an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget and with high client satisfaction. In your career, you&rsquo;ve successfully working on six-figure long term projects, for 9 to 18 months. Your experience may be with a service organization or a SaaS provider. &nbsp;If you are at a large-scale organization overseeing and implementing new projects, Doxim is the place to consider.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>As our new Senior Project Manager you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and execute end to end projects of varying sizes. From pre-sales to project close, you will manage all aspects of projects. &nbsp;You will consider the big-picture effects and proactively manage issues along the way.</li> <li>Build relationships. From the first intake conversation to the final stages of software implementation, you will work to build trust and rapport with each client and stakeholder.</li> <li>Track your progress. You will be responsible for all project status reporting, vendor management, project documentation and closely managing the budget. This includes managing customer expectations around project timelines and delivery deadlines.</li> <li>Be flexible. We work with a number of different tools and technologies across departments making no two projects the same.</li> <li>Manage resources. You will streamline processes, identify appropriate resources for each project and train and coach the project team. &nbsp;</li> <li>Be the point of escalation. As issues arise, you&rsquo;ll be asked to step in and contribute your wealth of knowledge and problem solving skills to ensure client satisfaction.</li> <li>Consult. You will advise on project charters, project deliverables, cost-benefits analysis, timelines, resource allocation, scope and gathering requirements to design solutions.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>The successful candidate has:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The education. You have a diploma or degree in finance, wealth management or a related discipline. Having your PMP designation or working towards it would be considered an asset.</li> <li>The project management experience. You have five or more years of experience as a project manager working in software implementation, ideally in the Financial Services industry.</li> <li>The SDLC expertise. You have experience managing application development project teams in both traditional and agile project management methodologies.</li> <li>A proven and effective leadership style. You have a proven ability to manage internal, external and geographically dispersed resources to meet development commitments and deadlines.</li> <li>The problem solving skills. You have a knack for approaching a problem with an open and innovative mindset, always putting the client&rsquo;s needs at the forefront of your solution.</li> <li>An outstanding communication style. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are able to present information in a succinct and effective manner.</li> <li>Impeccable organizational skills.
