Overview: The Project lead is responsible in managing a multifaceted construction facility; projects ranging from demolition of existing spaces, small day to day projects, planned moves from site to site, and managing small / large renovation projects. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at once, managing the project financials, overseeing safety / quality control and communicating directly with customers. You must be self-motivated, have project management experience and an emphases on customer services.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Hire full time and temporary laborers to contribute to each project.</li> <li>Create and manage budgets for each project, including supplies, material and labor.</li> <li>Open new project work order numbers, process change orders, submit invoices and related paperwork, and manage all financial aspect of the project thru completion.</li> <li>Prepare and submit project estimates to clients and customers.</li> <li>Maintain constant communication with the clients and customers throughout the duration of the project. Informing them of start and project completion dates, material lead time and addressing punch list.</li> <li>Overseeing subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality standards are met.</li> <li>Create schedules for construction crews and ensure all projects are fully staffed.</li> <li>Ensuring all safety guidelines are followed on all projects. Including local, state and federal building code requirements.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>2-year associate degree in construction related field, preferred.</li> <li>7-10 Years of Construction related experience, preferred.</li> <li>Must be able to speak, read, write fluently in English.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft windows operating system and related software. Also, should have knowledge of MS Project.</li> </ul>
