Overview: <p>Exceptionally customer oriented, extremely safety conscious driver with an excellent driving record, with basic computer skills, to be scheduled on an as-needed/on-call basis. The primary role is to operate client provided vehicles in the transport of corporate guests, employees, surgeons, and/or other customers either locally, or to and from assigned airports. Airports may include South Bend, Fort Wayne, Chicago, and Indianapolis but not limited to these locations. Assist the client coordinator in order to maintain the scheduled preventative maintenance of the company&rsquo;s vehicles, as well as the cleanliness, upkeep and appearance of provided vehicles. A high level of confidentially must be maintained between the driver and passenger(s), as driver may over hear, or become involved in company specific or proprietary conversation, not to be discussed outside of work environment.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proper inspecting and documentation of vehicles before each trip, fueling the vehicles before and/or after each trip to ensure a full gas tank, and ensuring all proper, and updated, paperwork needed is in the vehicle.</li> <li>Assisting coordinator with confirming details of trip and vehicle accuracy with any given assignments to ensure the comfort and safety of the passengers and assist to maintain scheduled preventative maintenance of the company&rsquo;s vehicles.</li> <li>Contacting passenger, prior to pick up in order to confirm location, arrival and assist passenger with loading luggage into vehicle.</li> <li>Assisting with scheduled driving tours, help in taking pictures as well as help in guiding them as needed by the event coordinator.</li> <li>Safe transport of corporate guests, employees, surgeons, and/or customers to airports, company buildings, hotels, restaurants, and/or any scheduled pick up/drop off location. Compliance with client confidentially agreement.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School or GED</li> <li>Previous customer service and/or driver experience</li> <li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License, excellent driving record and CDL</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, vehicle operations and maintenance instructions, as well as procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.</li> </ul>
