Overview: <p>Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm</p> <p>Pay Range: $17.57 - $ 24.16 Depending on Years of Experience<br /><br />The primary goal of the El Rio Health Phlebotomist is to support El Rio&rsquo;s Mission of providing comprehensive, quality health care that is affordable and accessible to all who may have healthcare needs, by successfully performing the primary essential functions.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The Phlebotomist collects, draws samples, and processes laboratory orders and prepares specimens for testing for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.</li> <li>Provides excellent customer service to our patients, external and internal customers.</li> <li>Provides and fosters a positive, professional, and productive environment with the laboratory department.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or G.E.D.</li> <li>Two (2) years&rsquo; experience as a or Phlebotomist or Medical Laboratory Assistant.<u> </u></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>If applicable, equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, and must be directly related to the functions and responsibilities of the job.<u> </u></em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations: </u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR) from an American Heart Association (AHA) accredited program.</li> <li>Certificate from accredited school for Phlebotomy.</li> <li>Employees in this position are required to have reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the organization during the workday.
