Overview: <p><strong>Starting Pay:</strong>&nbsp;$31.68 per hour, depending on qualifications</p> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong>&nbsp;TBD</p> <p>The <strong>Radiology Technician</strong> performs all general diagnostic radiology procedures per their scope of practice and skills list. Radiologist procedures are completed according to established ARRT guidelines as well as according to clinic protocols.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform general medical x-ray imaging for urgent care, primary care, and walk-in patients following clinician orders.</li> <li>Ensure radiation safety practices are followed for patients, staff, and technologists.</li> <li>Provide a compassionate, professional, and safe environment for patients during their care.</li> <li>Produce high-quality diagnostic images efficiently and accurately.</li> <li>Operate x-ray and lab equipment, maintaining proficiency in ALARA radiation safety practices and lab test handling.</li> <li>Participate in professional development, maintain required certifications, and resolve equipment issues as needed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D).</li> </ul> Required Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:<br /> <ul> <li>ARRT Board all required upon hire.</li> <li>BLS with in person component required upon hire.</li> <li>Level I fingerprint clearance card: current valid and in good standing or have applied for it within seven working days after beginning employment.</li> <li>Employees in this position are required to have reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the organization during the workday. If an employee is driving during work hours, the employee is required to possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license and must be in compliance with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements.</li> <li>Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities:</li> <li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages.</li> </ul>
