Overview: <br />Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter is responsible for partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the enterprise and to deliver best talent. Also responsible for providing market intelligence, developing recruiting and sourcing strategies, and measuring and monitoring the quality and cycle time for execution of the recruiting process.<br /><br /> <p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p> <p>Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards. Travel may be required.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Manage the full-cycle recruiting process across the Enterprise.</li> <li>Manage onboarding for new hires.</li> <li>Understand business strategy and provide innovative and creative recruitment solutions in response to hiring needs.</li> <li>Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to establish a recruitment action plan.</li> <li>Integrate diversity and inclusion strategies by developing and maintaining relationships with community groups and other associations in an effort to further our diversity efforts.</li> <li>Proactively utilize effective passive sourcing strategies to foster relationships with high potential candidates in an effort to plan for future openings.</li> <li>Utilize innovative recruiting methods including social media sites, networking events, building partnerships, etc.</li> <li>Work with HR Business Partners on&nbsp;building relationships with partner schools while performing full-cycle recruitment for Enterprise Intern and Trainee programs.</li> <li>May conduct exit interviews.</li> <li>Coordinates student/intern placement. Works with local colleges and universities to screen, interview, and place students in potential internships.</li> <li>Responsible for preparing and presenting HR metrics on all recruitment matters (i.e. time to fill).</li> <li>Develops and maintains professional relationships with temporary agencies, seeking qualified applicants with agencies to fill temporary positions, monitoring temporary&rsquo;s performance, and maintaining database of temporary information.&nbsp;</li> <li>Identifies opportunities and coordinates participation in job fairs, and represents the Company at career fairs.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources or a related field required, Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.</li> <li>Progress towards, or completion of, industry-recognized professional designations preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Continuous learning, as defined by the Company&rsquo;s learning philosophy, is required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>With proper education credentials, five years relevant experience is required.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>Experience recruiting in insurance industry desired.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Thorough knowledge of, and the ability to effectively apply, concepts, theories, laws, and regulations related to employment staffing.</li> <li>Thorough knowledge of current sourcing and recruiting methodologies.</li> <li>Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations.</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.</li> <li>Ability to objectively analyze trends and statistical data in the job market and recommend/implement resolution.</li> <li>Ability to effectively exchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts and other information, and respond to questions as appropriate.</li> <li>Ability to negotiate while establishing and maintaining effective working and client relationships.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability and proficiency in the use of computers and company standard software including ATS systems.</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</li> <li>Ability to work independently.</li> <li>Ability to perform other assignments at locations outside the office.</li> </ul>
