Overview: <br />This position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to attract and develop a top workforce that will position the company for future success. This includes defining and executing against the organization&rsquo;s talent management strategies for recruiting, onboarding, performance management, engagement, retention and diversity, and inclusion. This role is responsible for developing and leading a team of high-performing Human Resource Business Partners in support of leaders and employees across the enterprise. Reporting to the Director of Talent Management and Learning, this role serves as a key member of the HR leadership.<br /><br /> <p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p> <p>Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards. Travel may be required.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Responsible for leading a team of HR Business Partners to deliver quality, cost-effective, and relevant HR programs and services to the organization.</li> <li>Leads Human Resources Business Partners in support of the talent management processes, including talent assessments/skill gap analysis, needs assessment, organizational design, group dynamics and behavior, team building design and facilitation, performance management, performance review process, and related solutions.</li> <li>Acts as key member of HR leadership to partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits, and Labor and Employee Relations to achieve department, and ultimately organizational, objectives.</li> <li>Provides change management support through supply and demand analysis consulting services, which may include assessment of the current or future change initiative, organizational re-design and implementation of change and transition process, and training. Develops change management initiatives designed to build a culture of innovation and inclusion.</li> <li>Establishes vendor relationships and creates toolbox of recommended programs for various solutions to identified talent management and development gaps.</li> <li>Identifies metrics to measure success in talent management and development programs.</li> <li>Assist in the establishment of the annual business plan for the department, including action planning.</li> <li>Help create, and assess implementation of department vision and mission.</li> <li>Create and implement annual work plan.</li> <li>Meet semi-annually with Executives to assess overall business line needs and establish implementation.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>DIRECTION EXERCISED:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Directly supervises exempt staff in accordance with company policies and applicable Federal and State Laws.&nbsp;</li> <li>Responsibilities include but are not limited to effectively interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and counseling employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; supporting and encouraging the engagement process.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Organizational Development, or related area.</li> <li>Related Graduate Degree and professional designations, such as SPHR, preferred.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li> <li>Continuous learning, as defined by the Company&rsquo;s learning philosophy, is required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Seven years experience in a Human Resources environment with demonstrated technical experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.&nbsp;</li> <li>Three years supervisory or lead experience in Human Resources required.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong ability to diagnose the performance of an organization and identify HR solutions for business issues.</li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of human resources including its multiple functional areas.</li> <li>Knowledge of federal and state laws, statutes, and regulations related to HR practices including but limited to FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, recordkeeping, EEO, and Civil Rights.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.</li> <li>Ability to pull resources together to meet deadlines.</li> <li>Demonstrated excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership ability.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively in a diverse workgroup and manage ambiguous situations.</li> <li>Ability to identify and analyze organizational needs, problem-solving abilities, knowledge of long-term strategic planning, management development, curriculum design, and group facilitation.</li> <li>Ability to establish and oversee a budget and allocate resources appropriately.</li> <li>Strong PC skills.</li> <li>Ability to think systematically.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of the business.</li> <li>Proactive with a strong sense of urgency to drive results.</li> <li>Skilled in change management.</li> <li>Excellent group facilitation skills.</li> <li>Excellent presentation and communication skills.</li> <li>Comfortable in an influential role to bring about improvement and change.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across operating units, functions, and levels of the organization.</li> </ul>
