Overview: <br />Emergent Holdings is seeking a supply chain intern for summer 2022. This internship is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience that will prepare you for a full-time opportunity. You will gain insight into each of the following Supplier Management functions for the purpose of supporting the team with basic tasks and deliverables. <p><strong><br />WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p> <p>Work is anticipated to be performed as a combination of both onsite in Southfield, Michigan, and remote in your private home office setting.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Vendor Engagement <ul> <li>Triage Activities</li> <li>Requisition entry</li> </ul> </li> <li>Contract Administration <ul> <li>Support colleagues&nbsp;with oversight activities</li> <li>Vendor invoice tracking/validation</li> </ul> </li> <li>Data Intelligence and Reporting <ul> <li>Report generation</li> <li>Apttus data audits</li> </ul> </li> <li>Support of Adhoc projects or assignments</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /><br /> <p><strong>EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Have status as a sophomore, junior, or senior as of the end of the spring term (or be enrolled in an applicable graduate program).</li> <li>Hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better as of the most recent grading period.</li> <li>Be able to work full-time during normal business hours for this summer.</li> <li>Be available to begin employment between mid-May and mid-June.</li> </ul> <strong><br /><br />EDUCATION:</strong>&nbsp;<br /><br /> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled and active in any educational degree program.</li> <li>Preference will be given to those individuals currently enrolled in and majoring in&nbsp;Supply chain management.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>With proper education credentials no experience necessary.</li> <li>Previous work experience preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong><br />SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Process-driven</li> <li>Ability to establish work-flows, competing priorities, manage multiple projects and meet necessary deadlines while maintaining composure during stressful situations</li> <li>Tech-savvy; ability to navigate through basic software and web applications.</li> <li>Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint applications.</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to proofread documents for spelling, grammar, and punctuation.</li> <li>Ability to comprehend consequences of various situations and make appropriate individuals aware of same for decision making.</li> <li>Ability to exchange information clearly and concisely and to present ideas, report facts and other information.</li> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</li> </ul>
