Overview: Responsible for design and execution of member and provider facing initiatives in support of the CMS Star Ratings program.&nbsp; Position may include activities such as working with vendors and developing programs and summarizing performance data to determine results.&nbsp; Excellent communication skills, project management, strong attention to detail, and ability to coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously is required. &nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manages and monitors multiple projects simultaneously by developing initiative project&nbsp;plans&nbsp;to ensure goal attainment within defined parameters.</li> <li>Supports various initiatives in requirements definition, documentation of current and future state business capabilities, process development, process flows, training, and internal/external communications.</li> <li>Reviews, maintains, and provides status on initiative outcomes.</li> <li>Performs process verification/validation audits and presents findings and actionable recommendations.</li> <li>Leads&nbsp;appropriate&nbsp;cross-team&nbsp;coordination,&nbsp;communication,&nbsp;and&nbsp;design approaches.</li> <li>Provides data analysis used to facilitate data driven decision making, including the collection, and monitoring of metrics used to assess, prioritize, and select improvement projects.</li> <li>Initiates problem-solving efforts working closely with internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Research, analysis, identification, and evaluation of data from assigned problems to evaluate existing and potential trends, issues, and potential process improvements.</li> <li>Possesses and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of Advantasure business, products, programs (including provider data, networks, etc.), corporate organizational structure (including functional responsibilities), and basic research principles/methodologies.</li> <li>Develops lines of communication to discuss/review results of analysis to management via reports/presentations and assists management in implementing programs that provide solutions.</li> <li>Investigates, reviews, recommends, communicates, and implements solutions which identify problems/root cause of issues.</li> <li>Identifies and resolves challenges to fulfill key corporate objectives and responds to the demands of change management and initiates actions needed to plan, organize, and control team activities.</li> <li>Independently develops and plans reports, papers, and/or other materials in a clear and concise manner.</li> <li>Provides expertise and guidance to leadership as required.</li> <li>Acts as a liaison between corporate business areas and participates in group or committee discussions.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><em>This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position.&nbsp; Other relevant essential functions may be required.</em></p>
Requirements: <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></p> <p>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Health Care, Information Systems, or a related field.&nbsp; Master&rsquo;s Degree in related field preferred.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <p>Five (5) years of experience in a related field required to provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.</p> <p><strong>SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (SKA) REQUIRED:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Analytical, planning, problem solving skills and ability to draw relevant conclusions and devise and implement an appropriate plan of action.&nbsp;</li> <li>Vendor oversight/management skills including experience in writing contracts, developing service level agreements, scorecards, and budgets.</li> <li>Excellent verbal, and written skills to communicate complex ideas.</li> <li>Ability to work independently, within a team environment, and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.</li> <li>Excellent organization skills and ability to effectively multi-task in a dynamic and fast paced environment with tight deadlines.</li> <li>Ability to lead and facilitate cross functional team meetings.</li> <li>Working knowledge of project management disciplines and methods.</li> <li>Strong knowledge and use of existing software packages (Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and capable of using a computer effectively and efficiently.</li> <li>Ability to&nbsp;understand and apply statistical inference.</li> <li>Working knowledge of HEDIS and Medicare Stars.</li> <li>Demonstrates the ability and desire to take initiative</li> <li>Seeks out answers without being prompted and follows up to keep the project moving</li> </ul> <p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p> <p>Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards.&nbsp;</p> <p><em>The qualifications listed above are intended to represent the minimum education, experience, skills, knowledge and ability levels associated with performing the duties and responsibilities contained in this job description.&nbsp;</em></p>
