Overview: The Manager, Program &nbsp;Management is responsible for overseeing management of initiatives in the digital strategic &nbsp;plan for the Medicare Business Performance division . This role reports directly to the &nbsp;Director of Operational Product Management and works closely in partnership to drive forward multi-year transformation &nbsp;initiatives. Responsibilities include program planning &amp; implementation, use case development &amp; prioritization, tracking and reporting progress, managing cross team coordination &amp; partnering with other departments and divisions&rsquo; teams on issue escalation and, and communicating across stakeholders
Responsibilities: <p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Program planning &ndash; driving program implementation &amp; creation of roadmap design, prioritize, manage &nbsp;and oversee creation of &nbsp;key transformational initiatives.</li> <li>Establish effective program governance and standardized ways of working for the transformation program.</li> <li>Act as the single source of truth for tracking and reporting progress, along project costs &amp; timelines, against the project plan both bottom-up and top down between leadership and project team(s).</li> <li>Manage day-to-day operations of rigorous project management tracking; identify, use, and customize best-in-class project management methodologies, standards, and tools/templates.</li> <li>Provide direction on use cases for product enhancements and new products to product and technical team</li> <li>Managing cross team coordination, coordination, integration, resolution of issues and communication both within and between the project teams and/or stakeholders across the enterprise. &nbsp;</li> <li>Ideate with initiative owners on mitigation steps against risks identified; ensure mitigation steps are executed against.</li> <li>Manage the change request process, coordinate with relevant stakeholders affected by the change, assess the cost / timeline impact, and gain approval from leadership.</li> <li>Capture learnings and best practices and share across initiative workstreams.</li> <li>Manage direct reports.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><em>Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.</em></p> <ul> <li>7 years of progressively more responsible experience in project or product management.</li> <li>Previous experience in healthcare project management at a highly complex organization, or related prior experience within the healthcare industry, is strongly preferred.</li> <li>2 year of leadership experience</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree Business Administration, or related field required; Master&rsquo;s Degree in related field strongly preferred.</li> <li>PMP certification preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
