Overview: The Joint Venture (JV) Sales Operations Consultant is responsible for driving sales growth while ensuring compliant sales operations for Emergient Joint Venture Medicare Advantage products. This role will specifically oversee the tele-sales and direct online sales channels while supporting our JV Partner Sales leadership on the external broker and inside sales channels. Responsible for planning, strategizing, compliance and administration to increase Medicare Advantage enrollment within our JV markets. Accountable for developing relationships with key vendor partners and with Emergient JV Partner Plan Sales leadership teams.<br /><br />PAY RANGE: Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate&rsquo;s skills and professional experience, geographic location, market and other potential factors. It is not standard practice for an offer to be at or near the top of the range, and therefore a reasonable estimate for this role is between $67,500 and $113,100.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Organizes and works with appropriate leadership, external partners, and brokers to plan and schedule the coordination of people and tasks as needed to accomplish sales objectives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Represents Emergient JVs as consultative subject matter expert, involving other business areas as deemed appropriate.</li> <li>Work directly with tele-sales vendor to build tele-sales staffing plans in alignment with projections and budget, manage lead process, vendor performance and SLAs.</li> <li>Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure all sales channels are in compliance with CMS regulations.</li> <li>Provide&nbsp;sales support&nbsp;and&nbsp;training to&nbsp;broker channel&nbsp;to&nbsp;support&nbsp;retention and&nbsp;growth&nbsp;of&nbsp;broker&nbsp;written business.</li> <li>Provide educational&nbsp;support and materials&nbsp;to&nbsp;external brokers, i.e. assist in the management of broker toolkit content.</li> <li>Partner with the JV Marketing team to develop member acquisition&nbsp;strategies.</li> <li>Responsible for partnering with IT teams with configuration and testing of shopping websites.</li> <li>Maintain and update JV sales operations policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure JV Partners have updated external broker contracts and oversight policies and procedures.</li> <li>Review and collaborate with JV Partner Plan Sales leadership on external broker communications.</li> <li>Track metrics/ KPIs/enrollment reporting to ensure satisfactory enrollment progress.</li> <li>Compile status reports accurately and timely with the appropriate level of detail for team, leadership, and executive updates.&nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in development of project and program budgets, monitor budget and identify budget discrepancies. Research discrepancies and make recommendations.</li> <li>Participate in Stars workgroup meetings and serve as initiative owner for sales-related CMS Stars measures, e.g. tele-sales call center secret shopping measures.&nbsp;</li> <li>Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><em>Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.</em></li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related field required. Master&rsquo;s highly preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Seven years experience with demonstrated technical experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.</li> <li>Previous experience in the insurance industry including Medicare is a requirement.</li> <li>PMP certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.</li> </ul> <p><strong>SKILLS AND ABILITIES&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledgeable&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;senior&nbsp;marketplace&nbsp;competitive environment in JV markets.</li> <li>Strong understanding of insurance markets, including Medicare.</li> <li>Knowledge of CMS and DIFs guidelines/ regulations related to first tier downstream initiates, marketing, sales and enrollment as well as benefits/eligibility.</li> <li>Broad understanding of all the business domains and brands.</li> <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.</li> <li>Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.</li> <li>Ability to make competent, independent decisions and can anticipate needs of executive and department, accomplishing tasks without direction.</li> <li>Proficient skills to use Microsoft Office products (word, excel PowerPoint), email and Internet.</li> <li>Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Dependable, resourceful, self-motivated team player with a willingness to grow.</li> <li>Creative problem-solving skills to drive innovative solutions to increase assigned organization's sales and retain members.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to establish and meet high impact goals.</li> <li>Strong strategic and tactical planning and organizing skills.</li> </ul>
