Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Perform all maintenance on plant equipment in a safe manner, ensure equipment and machines are in good working condition while following GMP</li> <li>Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of machinery, equipment, and facilities in the processing &amp; packaging departments</li> <li>Diagnose problems, provide quick &amp; innovative solutions for equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, basic welding, metal fabrication, machining, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving</li> <li>Perform both corrective and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment</li> <li>A good understanding of the mechanical and electrical components in manufacturing equipment</li> <li>Experience with drill press, grinder, saws, and all other machine shop tools</li> <li>Provide recommendations for continual improvements and maximize efficiencies.</li> <li>Setup, takedown, and relocation of Bakery and Packaging equipment</li> <li>Assist production in setting up the equipment on the line</li> <li>Fill out shift reports electronically for specific issues or tasks completed during shift</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining and organizing the shop and toolbox.</li> <li>Rotating continental shifts and vacation fill-in</li> </ul>
