Overview: <p>As the Talent and Development (T&amp;D) Site Coordinator, your&nbsp;main responsibility is to assist&nbsp;our production team in an extremely fast-paced manufacturing environment. You provide support and co-ordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of Human Resources for all Team Members. Other responsibilities include Employee Relations, Recruitment,&nbsp;Health and Safety, Time and Attendance and other administrative tasks as required.&nbsp;Previous experience in a human resources environment within a manufacturing plant or warehouse is mandatory. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Actively work as a liaison between Manufacturing, Team Members, Talent and Development.</li> <li>Responsible for overseeing all agency communications; as well as assisting Site Leaders, Operations Leaders, Shift Leaders, and Team Leaders with Team Member employee relations.</li> <li>Communicate to agencies FGF policies, protocol and new initiatives.</li> <li>Reviews resumes and coordinates interviews with Agencies and Operation Leaders- to ensure &ldquo;Key Role Candidates&rdquo; (Mixers, Depositors, Oven Operators, Packaging Operators, Forklift Operators) have the required skill set, availability and attitude to work within the appropriate plant.</li> <li>Work closely with Operations Leaders and T&amp;D to determine current and upcoming Staffing needs.</li> <li>Tracks and monitors all temp agency orders; provides feedback and clarification to agencies regarding candidates interviewed.</li> <li>Gathers feedback from agencies on an ongoing basis, regarding our internal requests and summarizing challenges in order to create an ops/agency action plan always striving for continuous improvement.</li> <li>Manage and oversee all training required documentation for Key Roles (Mixers, Depositors).</li> <li>Manage/document Training Incentive Program Tracker as required with Operations Manager per plant.</li> <li>In conjunction with all key stakeholders, problem solve and troubleshoot any issues or challenges.</li> <li>Actively participates as a Health &amp; Safety advocate as required.</li> <li>Oversees any Team Member payroll issues to ensure they are resolved.</li> <li>Manage the daily payroll approval process for production Team Members and manage the Time and Attendance system for hourly plant staff.</li> <li>Set up new Team Members in the Time and Attendance system.</li> <li>In conjunction with Operations Leaders, and T&amp;D Business Partners, assists and participates in most Progressive Disciplinary situations related to Team Associates (agency workers).</li> <li>In conjunction with T&amp;D Business Partner, assists and participates in most Performance Evaluations related to Team Associates (agency workers) along with the appropriate Operations Managers.</li> <li>Assist with T&amp;D/Operations projects as assigned.</li> <li>Covers off for other Site Coordinators as required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum 1-2 years' related experience in Human Resources, in a Manufacturing Environment or Warehouse.</li> <li>Strong understanding of employment legislation specific to Ontario. (i.e.) Employment Standards Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, etc.</li> <li>Good understanding/working knowledge of HR policies/procedures and employee relations.</li> <li>Proven competency in the operation of key office software and productivity tools such as: MS Office suite of tools, working knowledge of an HRIS.</li> <li>Experience/knowledge of WSIB.</li> <li><strong>Valid driver&rsquo;s license required.</strong></li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?<u><br /></u></strong><u><br /></u>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
