Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of machinery, equipment and facilities in the processing &amp; packaging departments.</li> <li>Diagnose mechanical problems, provide quick &amp; innovative solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns by applying proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metal fabrication, machining, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving.</li> <li>Experience with drill press, grinder, saws, and all other machine shop tools.</li> <li>Setup, takedown, and relocation of Bakery and Packaging equipment.</li> <li>Perform preventative maintenance, and safety inspections.</li> <li>Provide solutions to routine or unique equipment problems.</li> <li>Promptly respond to equipment related issues with customer-oriented manner.</li> <li>Equipment PM (Preventive Maintenance) &ndash; responsible for maintaining equipment in safe working condition, lubricating necessary parts, changing worn out or damaged parts.</li> <li>Equipment (Production) &ndash; helps production set up the equipment on the line and troubleshoot/repair equipment during shift.</li> <li>Shop House Keeping - responsible for maintaining maintenance shop and toolbox organized and clean.</li> <li>Filling Out Shift Report &ndash; responsible for filling out electronically the shift report in specific issues or tasks completed during shift.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ordering Parts &ndash; responsible for ordering parts on QMS that get used and helping the coordinator maintain shop inventory.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><strong>Millwright License or equivalent experience.</strong></li> <li><strong>Minimum 2 years' mechanical experience in a high-speed packaging and/or manufacturing environment (food industry is highly preferred).</strong></li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of Health &amp; Safety and Lockout Procedures is an asset.</li> <li>Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs is an asset.</li> <li>Mechanical training or experience is preferred.</li> <li>Committed to working toward a Mechanical Certification.</li> <li>Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li> <li>Passionate about mechanical repair.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?</strong><strong><u><br /></u></strong><u><br /></u>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
