Overview: <p>It&rsquo;s an exciting time to be part of the Sustainability Team at FGF. In 2020, we launched FGF&rsquo;s Sustainability Program and declared our commitment to improve our environmental impact through ambitious targets. As a company, we are working toward becoming zero-waste, setting up science-based targets for carbon emissions, and achieving a 40% reduction in water consumption by tonne of finished product by 2030. This means we have a lot of exciting projects in motion. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Continuously define and lead projects that will make FGF a more environmentally friendly organization.</li> <li>Create and maintain a robust reporting structure for all environmental sustainability indicators.</li> <li>Responsible for environmental sustainability targets setting and performance management.</li> <li>Develop and maintain environmental sustainability policies.</li> <li>Ensure all regulatory, customer, and certification sustainability submissions are completed.</li> <li>Constantly engage the FGF community in environmental sustainability projects &amp; events for continuous education.</li> <li>Participate in external events related to environmental sustainability to influence decisions and to promote FGF&rsquo;s commitment to the Planet.</li> <li>Research potential governments programs that provide incentives to meet environmental targets; make recommendations to activate such programs at FGF.</li> <li>Coach and mentor all team members on environmental sustainability subject matter areas.</li> <li>Develop and maintain recycling programs across all facilities, targeting 90+% diversion from landfill. <ul> <li>Certify facilities as &ldquo;TRUE Zero Waste&rdquo;, and maintain certification throughout all facilities.</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>5+ years&rsquo; experience in the sustainability sector.</li> <li>Master's or University degree in a related field.</li> <li>The ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced, and dynamic environment, with&nbsp;Excellent research capabilities.</li> <li>Excellent organizational/Project Management skills.</li> <li>Excellent understanding of environmental sustainability concepts.</li> <li>Strong analytical ability and creative problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Previous management experience considered an asset.</li> <li>Exceptional at fostering and building community engagement.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?<u><br /></u></strong><u><br /></u>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
