Overview: <p>This high-profile role represents an exciting career opportunity with a highly recognized, rapidly growing brand, and it represents a very strategic hire for the long-term vision of FGF Brands.</p> <p>Working closely with the&nbsp;<strong>Director, Foodservice Distribution, Canada,</strong>&nbsp;you will be a key member of the company&rsquo;s Foodservice strategic team and will be primarily responsible for achieving customer acquisition, customer retention, and revenue/profit goals for assigned region of the Foodservice Channel. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Execute sales strategies to drive volume and profitability through increased account penetration and promotion within distribution partners.</li> <li>Manage and effectively lead broker partner team within assigned Region to drive Incremental sales and grow foodservice distribution.</li> <li>Establish new product opportunities and product applications via a focused effort to further penetrate strategic customer segments with the FGF product line</li> <li>Work closely with the internal FGF team to drive Foodservice marketing strategies &amp; initiatives to profitably build the</li> <li>Utilize planning, budgeting and tracking of Foodservice Promotional spend to maximize relationships and contractual agreements related to key customers</li> <li>Broaden existing distribution within the Foodservice channel while opening new Points of Distribution for FGF Brand penetration</li> <li>Maintain and grow relationships within existing customer accounts/channels</li> <li>Work closely with broker partner team in executing major GPO initiatives to include compliance and New Product placements within the awarded categories.</li> <li>Participating in customer food shows as required.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><strong>Experience&nbsp;</strong>with and/or a&nbsp;<strong>passion for Value Added Branded Food products&nbsp;<em>a must</em></strong><em>.</em></li> <li><strong>Minimum&nbsp;</strong>of 5 years of sales/sales experience in the Foodservice distribution</li> <li>Culinary experience is considered an asset but is not required.</li> <li>Proven track record of leading, motivating teams with inspirational leadership</li> <li><strong>Experienced making top-to-top sales presentations&nbsp;</strong>to regional executives in the Distribution</li> <li>Must possess&nbsp;<strong>key competencies including strategic vision and analytical skills&nbsp;</strong>enhanced by intuitive consumer insight and full Microsoft Office competence (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li> <li>Demonstrated&nbsp;<strong>ability to execute an effective sales, pricing, and distribution strategy</strong>; develop plans to support the strategy; ensure execution of plans.</li> <li>Experienced in building effective alliances with marketing and all other internal resource departments within the customer organization</li> <li>Entrepreneurial, innovative DNA with excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written).</li> <li><strong>Must be a &ldquo;risk taker&rdquo;&nbsp;</strong>that is never satisfied with the status quo.</li> <li>Must be willing to embrace speed, change and</li> <li>Travel: Travel is expected to be above 50%</li> <li>University degree preferred, MBA a Candidates with equivalent business experience will be considered.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?<br /><br /></strong>Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
