Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Must be able to operate and maintain all plant and facility support equipment, including but not limited to ammonia refrigeration system, HVAC systems, Steam system, etc.</li> <li>All Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting.</li> <li>Must exceed all "B" Mechanical Qualification.</li> <li>Must attend IPM 10-Minute Meetings as assigned.</li> <li>Write Work Orders on Issues discussed in IPM 10 Minute Meetings</li> <li>Follow and adhere to Lock &ndash; Out/Tag &ndash; Out procedures at all times.</li> <li>Respond to radio calls in a timely manner.</li> <li>Assist at all times with keeping the plant running as smooth as possible while working on maintenance projects and performing PM task.</li> <li>Recognizes waste and recommends initiatives for elimination or reduction.</li> <li>Clean all maintenance work areas at the end of the shift.</li> <li>Preventive Maintenance on equipment scheduled through PMC.</li> <li>Writing special or new Part Request.</li> <li>Repair of equipment scheduled through PMC.</li> <li>Familiarization with searching parts in the PMC system.</li> <li>Must be able to write and make status changes to Work Orders in PMC.</li> <li>Must know how to issue parts out of inventory.</li> <li>Must ensure the parts used are issued to the equipment in which they were used.</li> <li>Must ensure safe work practices.</li> <li>Write work orders as needed.</li> <li>Working knowledge of power tools.</li> <li>Maintain proper documentation of plant equipment.</li> <li>Adheres to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards as well as HACCP compliance and other food safety and workplace safety initiatives.</li> <li>Follows attendance policy. Observes department call-in procedures. Exhibits timely arrival and departure and dependable time habits including meal and other breaks.</li> <li>Maintains a positive attitude and gets along well with coworkers.</li> <li>Exhibits teamwork and willingness to help others.</li> <li>Follows dress code and maintains a professional appearance.</li> <li>Can be relied upon to complete assigned tasks.</li> <li>Complies with established Departmental and Organizational policies and procedures.</li> <li>Works within a team environment to meet/exceed established production standards.</li> </ul>
