Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Command massive Haul Trucks and other heavy machinery within the confines of an open pit mine</li> <li>Execute assigned heavy equipment operations with a keen focus on safety and efficiency.</li> <li>Immerse yourself in our safety and culture-building initiatives.</li> <li>Embrace opportunities for training on cutting-edge equipment.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum of 2000 hours of experience behind a 773+ Haul Truck, Articulating Truck, D6+ Dozer, OR 250+ Excavator, Loader, or Grader.</li> <li>Valid driver's license with 3-year driver's abstract required.</li> <li>Common Safety Orientation (CSO).</li> Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required. <li>Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.</li> <li>High school diplomas and post-secondary degrees are considered assets.</li> </ul> <strong>Other important details</strong><br /> <br />This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of a drug and alcohol testing. <br /> <br /><strong>Why FLINT</strong><br /> <br />FLINT strives every day to be recognized as your employer of choice, modelling our core values not only to our customers but also to our employees.
