Overview: FLINT, a rapidly expanding organization, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Fabrication. As a successful candidate, you will possess a keen eye for safety, quality, schedule, and cost, ensuring these critical aspects are well-managed throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will involve defining objectives for each project and collaborating closely with operation managers, estimators, QA/QC, and shop managers to achieve successful outcomes. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage contracts and resources to implement the work effectively.</li> <li>Proactively set client expectations and communicate professionally with partners.</li> <li>Provide direction to field teams and ensure contractual alignment.</li> <li>Plan and analyze workforce and financial data to improve project performance.</li> <li>Ensure field activities meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.</li> <li>Inspire a culture aligned with FLINT's core values.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum 8 years of experience in construction or industrial project management.</li> <li>Fabrication experience is an asset.</li> <li>You hold a PMP certificate.</li> <li>Proficient in software systems for estimating and project management.</li> <li>Technical ability in any of the following would be ideal and transferrable: mechanical/piping sector, including shutdown/turnaround implementation.</li> <li>Journeyperson Trade certification or related post-secondary degree is a plus.</li> <li>Understand human resources and HSE standards.</li> </ul> <strong>Other important details</strong><br />These positions have been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of a drug and alcohol testing.  <br /><br /><strong>Why FLINT</strong> <br /><br />FLINT strives every day to be recognized as your employer of choice, modelling our core values not only to our customers but also to our employees.
