Overview: We're currently looking for skilled Ironworkers to join our dynamic team at our Client Site in Trail, BC. If you hold a provincially issued Journeyperson Ironworker Certificate and possess the necessary safety certifications, including CSTS, WHMIS, AWP, and Fall Protection, we invite you to explore this role further.&nbsp;From October 2nd, 2023, until December 31st, 2023, this role offers competitive compensation starting from $45.10/hr., featuring a Monday to Friday shift rotation.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Read blueprints and specifications to lay out the work.</li> <li><span data-contrast="auto"> Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as&nbsp;needed.</span></li> <li>Erect and install construction cranes, derricks, and other hoisting equipment.</li> <li>Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials.</li> <li>Attach cables from a crane or derrick and&nbsp;direct crane operators with hand signals or radios.</li> <li>Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts.</li> <li>Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or welding.</li> <li>Assemble and erect prefabricated metal structures.</li> <li>Select, cut, bend, position, and secure steel bars or wire mesh in concrete forms to reinforce the concrete.</li> <li>Install ornamental and other structural metalwork such as curtain walls, metal stairways, railings, and&nbsp;powerdoors.</li> <li>Unload and install pre-cast components.</li> </ul>

Reg and 2 hrs.
