Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.  </li> <li>Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation, as required.  </li> <li>Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.  </li> <li>Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.  </li> <li>Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.  </li> <li>Maintain and repair of piping systems. </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification.</li> <li>Valid and up-to-date safety tickets</li> <li>Experience with hydro testing, tank vessels, or flang management is considered an asset.</li> <li>Enjoy a varied workload.</li> <li>Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.</li> <li>Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.</li> </ul> This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.  <br /> <br />Why FLINT<br />FLINT strives every day to be recognized as your employer of choice, modelling our core values not only to our customers but also to our employees.
