Overview: FLINT is seeking a talented Planner to become a valuable addition to our team. In this position, your primary responsibility will be to plan and create Project execution plans for the pipefitters and welders. Collaborating with various levels of supervision, you'll ensure that projects, outages, shutdowns, and maintenance activities are meticulously planned and executed safely and thoroughly. This involves developing the sequence and lead time to align with the client's forecasted master schedule.<br /> <br />This is a Temporary role for one of our Turnaround Projects based in our Sunrise location in Ft. McKay, AB.<br />DATES: August 31, to October 15, 2024
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Taking the lead to facilitate the project's effective front-end planning, construction, and turnover phases.</li> <li>Supporting maintenance and projects</li> <li>Reviewing RFQs and Project documentation to determine optimal execution sequencing.</li> <li>You will work with project teams to develop an effective execution plan.</li> <li>Generating and maintaining SAP work orders.</li> <li>Coordinating all outside services and monitoring the flow of parts to and from external service providers and suppliers.</li> <li>Providing project cost estimates and cost analysis.</li> <li>Overseeing the progress and productivity of all project aspects, with the ability to recognize areas of concern and develop/propose solutions in a time-sensitive manner.</li> <li>Developing job plans with proficiency to ensure overall plans are realistic and achievable.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Excellent knowledge of mechanical maintenance planning.</li> <li>Experienced in Industrial Energy Sector execution methods and sequencing.</li> <li>Familiar with pipefitting, welding, rotating and construction practices</li> <li>Superb organizational skills.</li> <li>High-level proficiency in SAP. McLaren</li> <li>Intelex, Navisworks, Bluebeam- Microsoft suite</li> <li>Ability to interpret, evaluate and apply regulations, policies and procedures to various work situations.</li> <li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
