We have an exciting opportunity at our North Kingstown, Rhode Island facility for a Maintenance Technician! <br /> <br />With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Europe, Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan, local sales offices throughout the world and on-site applications support, FUJIFILM Electronic Materials supplies the world's top tier semiconductor manufacturers with a broad array of products and services used throughout the semiconductor manufacturing process. <br /> <br />The Role<br /> <br />The Maintenance Technician will perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections. They will execute repairs, PM&rsquo;s and general facility tasks.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Disassembles machines and repairs or replaces worn or broken equipment. Adjusts functional parts of devices as necessary. Cleans, calibrates, and lubricates parts and equipment. Repairs, installs, replaces, and maintains machinery both electrical and/or mechanical equipment within the establishment down to the component level including piping, pumps, blowers, belts, gearboxes, lighting, and motors, fuses, circuit breakers, switches lamps, etc. and has a technical understanding of the component&rsquo;s function/roll</li> <li>Capable of troubleshooting systems and subsystems to diagnose troubles down to root cause level.</li> <li>Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair: Process piping, mechanical equipment, centrifugal and diaphragm pumps used to for process and lab operations at the site. Industrial fixed, rotating, and mechanical equipment such as pumps, piping, valves, motors, and fans.</li> <li>Other hybrid maintenance duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/lead.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>In depth knowledge of the following:</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>HVAC systems, their functions and relationship to plant operations.</li> <li>Steam generation, compressed air, tower water, vacuum, RO/DI water, chilled water, nitrogen, and electrical systems and their operation as well as all their sub-systems and all related equipment associated with operation.</li> <li>Knowledge of Lubricating Oil &amp; Greases: types, properties, handling and applications.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Understands:</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Drive fundamentals, components, Motor Controls, schematic symbols, diagrams and is capable of troubleshooting performance issues.</li> <li>Enclosed Drive Systems &ndash; adjustable speed drives, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting</li> <li>Programmable Logic Controllers &ndash; fundamentals, inputs, outputs, and troubleshooting</li> <li>Basic motor controls and relays; overload relays, time delay relays, and starting methods</li> <li>Process Measurement &ndash; temperature, resistance, pressure, level and flow indicators and transmitters</li> <li>Basic Process Control &ndash; process variables, instrumentation symbols, and loop diagrams.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Degree or GED.</li> <li>Minimum of 5+ years&rsquo; working in an industrial, manufacturing environment</li> <li>General knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance module is preferred.</li> <li>Detail oriented individual, able to manage multiple tasks with input from various individuals in the manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Strong computer skills (MS-Excel, Word, Outlook, Drive, etc.) required.</li> <li>Read, write and speak English. Ability to take direction and execute tasks accordingly.</li> <li>Basic electrical concepts including fuses, grounding, circuit breakers, switches, motors, load distribution, electronic assemblies, microprocessors, data acquisition equipment, lamps, wiring, etc.</li> <li>Basic mechanical concepts including pumps, blowers, belts, gears, lubrication, etc.</li> <li>Basic troubleshooting skills.</li> <li>This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.
