The testing is performed in the labs designated for QC. The testing provides the quality checkpoints in the manufacturing process.</p> <p>This opportunity is for our second shift support.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Audit test results, batch records and documentation for accuracy and completeness. Utilize statistical tools to validate quality data and assure correlation to guidelines and specifications. Utilize all elements of the quality system (i.e. NCMR's, ICAR's, etc.) to identify, classify and control the status of products produced. Both written and electronic means are utilized for analysis, tracking and record retention. This process provides validation to the manufacturing and quality processes.</li> <li>Perform/maintain routine calibration and/or light maintenance of laboratory equipment, instrumentation and standards. This may also include the coordination of outside service calls. These tasks assure that the equipment and instrumentation is capable of providing specified measurement requirements, thus allowing for accurate decisions regarding product acceptance.</li> <li>Provide training to other team members on those functions in which he/she has been certified. The training provides for a more flexible and versatile team.</li> <li>Project management and training not limited to: Gage R&amp;R studies, test method development, procedure writing, and MFT process flows. This work allows for process improvements, cost savings and cycle time reductions.</li> <li>General housekeeping practices including the proper handling of process waste. This allows for a clean and safe environment.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Chemistry.</li> <li>0-3 years laboratory experience.</li> <li>Ability to troubleshoot and make informed decisions.</li> <li>Must be able to work 2nd shift.</li> <li>Knowledge of analytical techniques is required.</li> <li>Knowledge of metals analysis is a plus.</li> <li>Data analysis skill set (algebra, SPC) is required.</li> <li>Multitasking and flexibility/versatility is required.</li> <li>Advanced computer skills required (Perform transactions in Lotus Notes, SAP, MS Office, and SQC pack).</li> <li>This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.
