The key responsibilities will be to manage the personnel, physical plants and budget resources to produce the highest quality products.</p> <p>They will drive the timely manufacture of the company&rsquo;s products, meeting customer, quality, and cost standards by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the process and equipment performance.</p> <p>Expected to manage the CMP Systems capital program, supporting the Mesa safety, environmental, and quality systems, supporting business requests for information and new product development.<br /><br /></p> </div> </div> </div> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">External US</h2>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Within scheduling constraints, plan material delivery and manufacture to meet customer demands.</li> <li>Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for engineering staff to use and abide by.</li> <li>Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff members.</li> <li>Plan and communicate manufacturing budget and resource requirements, provide product costing for new and modified products, provide efficient utilization of manufacturing resources.</li> <li>Propose and oversee budgets and timelines for engineering projects.</li> <li>Member of the CMP Management of Change Control Board which approves all change proposals.</li> <li>Member of the CMP Material Review Board which approves all requests for material disposition.</li> <li>Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects.</li> <li>Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes.</li> <li>Provide backup for the CMP Manufacturing Manager whose duties include direct supervision of CMP production and maintenance operations.</li> <li>Develop and track implementation of lean initiatives&nbsp;including Kaizen, KPIs, 5S/6S, Poke-yoke, value stream modelling, etc.</li> <li>Lead cross functional teams using structured problem-solving tools such as fishbone, 8D, failure tree, and statistical analysis to resolve yield and quality issues quickly.</li> <li>Support SPC program for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.</li> <li>Review and approve all CMP procedure and container drawing changes for the Mesa facility in Compliant Pro.</li> <li>Support Mesa Environmental, Health and Safety, and Quality systems as required through audits and improvement programs.</li> <li>Providing technical support to business group, customers, and maintenance including troubleshooting, modification/design, and other process/project orientated work.</li> <li>Participate in customer audits and/or answer customer complaints using an 8D format.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree required.</li> <li>10 years Manufacturing experience or equivalent leadership experience, prior experience managing high purity chemical production preferred.</li> <li>2 years Project Management experience.</li> <li>Lean Manufacturing Certification or equivalent Lean Manufacturing experience.</li> <li>Strong computer skills for Microsoft Office suite.</li> <li>Prior experience with SAP and LIMS software is preferred.</li> <li>Strong planning and logistics experience.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Strong understanding of SPC.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills mandatory.</li> <li>Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization.</li> <li>Ability to be fitted for and wear a respirator.</li> <li>This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.
