We have an exciting opportunity at our Mesa, Arizona facility for a&nbsp;<strong>IS Support Specialist II!</strong></p> <p>With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Europe, Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan, local sales offices throughout the world and on-site applications support, FUJIFILM Electronic Materials supplies the world's top tier semiconductor manufacturers with a broad array of products and services used throughout the semiconductor manufacturing process.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>The Support Specialist builds-up, installs and maintains computers and peripherals at the Mesa, AZ facility. Configures equipment to established company and industry standards. Installs and upgrades software as needed. Troubleshoots hardware and software issues on common use software and systems. Periodically conducts training of company personnel in the proper use of hardware and software.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Answers the IT Support line and emails, assist employees and resolves issues in person and via remote desktop.</li> <li>Images computer equipment with the latest operating system.</li> <li>Deploys new hardware and assists with desk moves.</li> <li>Sets up new cell phone lines of service, performs phone swaps.</li> <li>Enters all problems and requests into the IT Support Tracking Software.</li> <li>Provides technical phone support for internal and external customers.</li> <li>Resolves or escalates problems when appropriate.</li> <li>Follows up on existing work orders to ensure timely resolution.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Requires an Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science and 3 years of experience or a high school diploma and 5 to 6 years of experience.</li> <li>Requires a basic knowledge of supported server, application, network, security systems, virus protection, and hardware configurations.</li> <li>Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical role supporting desktop and/or application servers in an Information Technology environment.</li> <li>Desired 3 plus years of experience in Microsoft Office.</li> <li>Desired 3 plus years of experience using ticket tracking system.</li> <li>Knowledgeable of research techniques to analyze and able to make recommendations.</li> <li>Experience with technical documentation skills a plus.</li> <li>Self-motivated and high attention to detail.</li> <li>This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.
