This position supports day-to-day marketing communications activities, develops engaging internal/external communications, assists with regional branding needs for internal clients, and coordinates with other locations to identify and write compelling articles for a variety of audiences.</p> </div> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Being part of an agile communication team, you enjoy delivering on everyday communication with short deadlines as much as being responsible for supporting larger strategic internal communication initiatives and events</li> <li>Create and disseminate content through multiple communication platforms and channels</li> <li>Write and edit copy for emails, newsletters, digital signage, and web sites</li> <li>Create visually compelling graphics for use in various communication channels</li> <li>Work with stakeholders to collect relevant information needed to create engaging content</li> <li>Support Ad Hoc Requests, such as: <ul> <li>Identify and review incoming communications requests</li> <li>Work with requesters&nbsp;to capture relevant details, draft/edit/format copy, and create any needed supporting graphics/images</li> <li>Work with communications team and stakeholders to identify relevant communications channels for dissemination</li> <li>Help gather communications statistics and create reports to determine effectiveness of channels and future strategy</li> <li>Participate in strategic planning</li> <li>Support creation and distribution of printed signage</li> </ul> </li> <li>Be a strong ambassador, curator, and protector of the FFEM brand as the company continues to grow</li> <li>Manage needs of projects with competing deadlines while ensuring on-brand communication of the highest quality</li> <li>Bring skills applicable to tasks needed to complete communication plans as a hands-on contributor, including writing and editing, project management, maximizing use of our communications platforms</li> <li>Come with a self-starter, can-do attitude, and a flexible and adaptable mindset</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>BA in Communications or relevant field combined with two (2) to four (4) years of experience as a communication professional, preferably from the electronic materials, chemical or semiconductor industry or an international business-to-business corporation.</li> <li>Excellent project management skills, a willingness to ramp up quickly with industry terms and technologies, and the business acumen to empower you to succeed.</li> <li>Team-focused attitude, along with the ability to work independently.</li> <li>Approach tasks with structure, energy, curiosity, and a positive attitude.</li> <li>Proven responsibility for driving strategic communication projects yourself and experience in change communication is a plus.</li> <li>Develop compelling stories, visually appealing presentations, videos, and articles that engage the audience</li> <li>Business knowledge of Japanese language is a plus; however, not required</li> <li>Strong English language and writing skills required</li> <li>Ability to network and forge working relationships across FEUS, with colleagues in other global regions, and with peers in HLUS Corporate Communications.</li> <li>This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.
