Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining programs such as Safe Work Permits, Lockout-Tagout-Try, Line Breaks, Hot Work, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Lift Safety, and other Maintenance-related critical safety programs. This individual will ensure adherence with site and company safety policies and all laws (PSM/RMP), as well as quality and environmental requirements.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Direct supervision of the Maintenance staff, including technicians, planners, inventory clerks, Reliability Engineers, and all other staff in the department.</li> <li>Responsible for the CMMS system (SAP). This is the primary tool used to schedule and track maintenance activities, track and purchase parts and critical spares, and generate the KPI data to measure effectiveness of the maintenance department.</li> <li>Create a robust planning and scheduling function for all maintenance activities across the facility including both chemical process and facilities work.</li> <li>Establish and track KPI&rsquo;s to ensure the facility maintenance efforts are meeting the needs of the business.</li> <li>Responsible for ensuring safe work practices of FFEM maintenance personnel and third-party services providers (contractors) providing maintenance support.</li> <li>Responsible for maintaining and/or developing critical safety programs including training relevant personnel.&nbsp; These programs include Safe Work Permits, Lockout-Tagout-Try, Line Breaks, Mechanical Integrity, Hot Work, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Lift Safety, excavation, and other relevant safety programs.</li> <li>Ensure that the Safety Permit to Work system is implemented &amp; maintained at all times to assist with the control of on-site contractors in accordance with standard operating procedures.</li> <li>Responsible for the 24/7 operation of central facilities utility systems, including instrument air, primary and secondary chilled water, natural gas, HVAC, electrical distribution and lighting, potable water, de-ionized water, steam generation, industrial waste treatment, permitted scrubber systems, boilers, chilled water, and site security systems (fire, access control).</li> <li>Responsible for maintenance inventory management functions, ensuring spare part inventory levels are appropriate and right sized. Manages critical spare inventory to ensure availability per business guidelines.</li> <li>Responsible for meeting/exceeding established housekeeping standards and increasing 5S maturity in areas of ownership.</li> <li>Working with Engineering and/or Procurement, interface with vendors to cost-effectively procure parts, materials, and services per established maintenance work plans.</li> <li>Execute site Preventive and Predictive Maintenance plans to reduce unplanned maintenance downtime. Provide input into PM plan development and optimization to drive system improvements.</li> <li>Leverage third-party contractor resources to supplement maintenance &amp; repair activities as required by situations and tasks.</li> <li>Ensure critical performance parameters are tracked and reported, as needed, for quality compliance.</li> <li>Balance third party contractor resource utilization with internal maintenance resources to maximize labor efficiency.</li> <li>Support Pueblo Safety and Quality systems, as required, through audits and improvement programs.</li> <li>Review and approve Maintenance procedures changes for the Mesa facility in Reliance.</li> <li>Actively participates in EH&amp;S and quality department programs and requirements.</li> <li>As defined, serve as project manager/coordinator for identified expense projects.</li> <li>Interact with project teams and project managers to provide maintenance input into capital project design and development activities.</li> <li>Responsible that Change Management requirements are met prior to maintenance work started and after work is completed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in an engineering or construction-related field required.</li> <li>Minimum 10 years&rsquo; experience in the maintenance field.</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance role preferably in a chemical facility.</li> <li>In lieu of a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, a minimum 15 years of related experience with 10 years of supervisory experience will be accepted.</li> <li>Strong troubleshooting skills required.</li> <li>Strong safety and hazard recognition mindset required.</li> <li>CMMS experience required.</li> <li>Strong oral and written communications skills required.</li> <li>Familiarity with chemical processing equipment strongly desired (piping systems, pumps, instrumentation and controls, pressure relief systems, etc.).</li> <li>Familiarity with running a Mechanical Integrity program preferred.</li> <li>Experience working in a PSM/RMP facility preferred.</li> <li>Previous experience in a Semiconductor supply environment is a bonus.</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Office programs preferred.</li> <li>SAP experience preferred.</li> <li>Ability to work well with others at all levels within the organization.</li> <li>Hands on approach; works with team rather than only providing direction.</li> <li>Capable of leading and developing staff.</li> <li>Lean/Six Sigma training is a bonus.</li> <li>Must be able to lift, push/pull and carry up to 20 lbs.</li> <li>This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.
