We have an exciting opportunity at our Mesa, AZ facility for a&nbsp;<strong>Wet Lab Technician!</strong></p> <p>With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Europe, Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan, local sales offices throughout the world and on-site applications support, FUJIFILM Electronic Materials supplies the world's top tier semiconductor manufacturers with a broad array of products and services used throughout the semiconductor manufacturing process.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>The Wet Lab Technician will be responsible for mixing and testing CMP slurries, operating wet lab characterization tools; executing test plans, generating test data, and maintaining CMP equipment.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Mixes, filters, and documents slurry for testing</li> <li>Coordinates with engineering and lab staff on slurry, chemistry and supply needs</li> <li>Operates wafer polishing, metrology, and slurry characterization equipment</li> <li>Measures slurry stability and product shelf-life on various analytical tools</li> <li>Generates data on Malvern, AcoustoSizer, Celerity, E-chem Biologic SP-300, FTIR, HPLC, SurPASS, wafer-cutter &amp; Bench-top polisher</li> <li>Maintains CMP lab equipment</li> <li>Operates in compliance with company safety practices</li> <li>Fills and lifts slurry pails and canisters up to 55 pounds. Moves drums, totes and operates forklift.</li> <li>Job requires standing and working in a lab setting for a substantial part of every day</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned by Wet Lab Supervisor</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Proficient with basic chemistry, SDS, lab equipment and chemical handling processes</li> <li>Minimum HS degree or GED required; some college preferred especially with chemistry courses/labs</li> <li>0 to 1 year of previous experience required</li> <li>Excellent communication, data collection, time management and organizational skills required</li> <li>Job requires standing and working in the lab for a substantial part of every day</li> <li>Must be able to lift 55 lbs. (See Physical Requirements and Working Conditions)</li> <li>Technically inclined person with a desire to work on tools and chemistries</li> <li>Person should be comfortable dealing with and handling chemicals</li> <li>Excellence in understanding and following instructions</li> <li>Familiarity with computer software and applications</li> <li>Experience with CMP polishing and metrology will be considered a plus</li> <li>Excellent safety, work performance and attendance records</li> <li>Analytical sampling experience (pH, % solids, particle counts, titration) preferred</li> <li>SAP experience a plus</li> <li>Prior experience in the chemical industry a plus</li> <li>This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.
