Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prepare new and returnable drums for totes filling, labelling, pressure testing, and pumping out heels, if needed.</li> <li>Fill and package drums and totes.</li> <li>Sample and partial count products.</li> <li>Compounding of tanks.</li> <li>Obtain forklift certification and perform material handling operations, as assigned.</li> <li>Operate forklift and other manufacturing tools and equipment.</li> <li>Correctly document containers processed as required by standard operating procedures, including manual and electronic logs, forms, and labels.</li> <li>Operate manual and automated equipment in support of job functions.</li> <li>Communicate equipment status and outages to supervision, as needed, for correct and safe operation.</li> <li>Complete all paperwork correctly.</li> <li>Maintain EHS and Quality monthly training as required.</li> <li>Achieve Utility and PSM certification within 3 months.</li> <li>Complete training for certifications per Competency Matrix.</li> <li>Fully certified at Solvents prep within 6 months of hire.</li> <li>Support and participate in Environmental Health and Safety and Quality department programs and requirements.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required.</li> <li>0-1 years&rsquo; chemical handling experience; high purity, chemical, pharmaceutical, military experience preferred.</li> <li>Previous or current tractor truck driving experience a plus.</li> <li>Good computer skills to include MS Office- Excel and Word. SAP experience a plus.</li> <li>Forklift and other manufacturing tool experience a plus.</li> <li>Must have the ability to work effectively with others at all levels of the organization.</li> <li>Excellent safety, work performance, and attendance records.</li> <li>Must have a valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record.</li> <li>Ability to work varied 12-hour shifts, days or nights, including weekends.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.</li> <li>Ability to be fitted for and wear a respirator.</li> <li>Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.</li> <li>Outside work will be required.</li> <li>This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment.
