We have an exciting opportunity at our Mesa, AZ facility for a&nbsp;<strong>Senior Product Engineer!</strong></p> <p>With state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Europe, Taiwan, China, Korea and Japan, local sales offices throughout the world and on-site applications support, FUJIFILM Electronic Materials supplies the world's top tier semiconductor manufacturers with a broad array of products and services used throughout the semiconductor manufacturing process.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>This position will support the acquisition and growth of our non-CMP business units; primarily focused on developing new business but may also support other opportunities and projects as deemed appropriate.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Partner with Business Director, Product Manager and Product Development Managers in implementing strategic plans for new, differentiated products to meet market demands consistent with our strategic plans.</li> <li>By interacting directly with leading edge customers, assimilate and present current and anticipated market and lithographic product performance requirements for current and upcoming technology nodes.</li> <li>Strongly collaborate with technology development, operations, and quality to drive new product introductions according to customer timelines and performance targets.</li> <li>Support product development process for new products by collaborating with technology and business teams to meet internal product development protocol requirements, external customer data requirements and government regulatory requirements.</li> <li>Coordinate responses to customer inquiries for technical information for new and existing products.</li> <li>Collaborate with supplier quality engineers on change control validation, capacity increase, business continuity planning, quality improvement and cost reduction projects.</li> <li>Drive projects with industry partners in line with key product technical requirements.</li> <li>Manage and support change projects at key customers.</li> <li>Manage and support statistical production data reviews at key customers for new and existing products.</li> <li>Lead select product quality improvement projects internally and task force projects with customers.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Requires a BS in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields with a minimum of six years of experience in Electronic Materials or an MS in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or MBA plus three years of experience in Electronic Materials.</li> <li>Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin (Taiwanese Mandarin) Chinese.</li> <li>Willingness to attend functions and travel outside of standard working hours.</li> <li>Experience with ultra-pure solvents, photolithography, and thin film systems preferred. Also, experience working with Tier 1 semiconductor companies preferred.</li> <li>Ability to solve problems and coordinate activities associated with chemical, physical, material and process related issues.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control rules and processes.</li> <li>Must have a good working knowledge of statistics and design of experiment methods to understand and interpret data for customer presentation and internal requirements.</li> <li>Understanding of problem-solving methods and root cause analysis/investigation.</li> <li>Must have excellent capability to use Power Point, Excel to create concise internal technical and customer presentations.</li> <li>Must have demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Lean six sigma methodology</li> </ul>
