Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for analyzing raw materials, intermediates, and final products following company processes and procedures.</li> <li>Investigating non-compliance test results to assure the substance meets internal and external specifications.</li> <li>Review analytical long-term stability charts to assure laboratory equipment meet fit-for-use criteria.</li> <li>Perform troubleshooting repairs and maintenance activities.</li> <li>Reviewing and updating laboratory documents consistent with Good Laboratory Practices.</li> <li>Completes a high volume of work</li> <li>Performs automated and manual tests strictly according to approved procedures and methodologies.</li> <li>Perform other duties, as assigned.</li> <li>Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates commitment to and support of EH&amp;S principles and values; champions safety as necessary</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>BA/BS in Chemistry or related degree such as Biochemistry, Biology, Physics or Mathematics</li> <li>0 -1 Years of experience in a production lab environment</li> <li>Instrumentation experience preferred with tools such as ICP/MS, GC/MS, UV-Vis, GC/FID/TCD, IC, HPLC, GFAA, ICP/OES, or liquid particle counters</li> <li>Experience using Good Lab Practices</li> <li>Knowledge of weights and measures used in analytical procedures</li> <li>Good computer skills, including ability to use MS Office suite; various email, internet, intranet, and other programs</li> <li>Statistical based software experience preferred</li> <li>Candidate must be able to multi-task and handle change in priorities.</li> <li>Good communication skills within different functional groups</li> <li>Ability to work varied shifts to include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. This includes weekends and holidays as required.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li> <li>This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.</li> </ul>
