Responsibilities: <p dir="LTR">Childcare (80%)</p> <ul> <li>Courteously communicate and collaborate with all staff and supervisors in order to provide healthy day to day care of children</li> <li>Patiently establish and maintain meaningful positive relationships with children as outlined in each behavior care plan using the Teaching Family Model (TFM)</li> <li>Consistently maintain a daily, structured routine that includes extra-curricular activities in and outside of the facility to promote healthy habits based on children's developmental needs</li> <li>Conscientiously model and teach youth various life skills such as appropriate social interaction, self care including personal hygiene and self-maintenance including household chores and food preparation</li> <li>Accurately follow de-escalation procedures in response to crises by identifying and implementing appropriate verbal techniques from the TFM or prescribed in an individualized behavior support plan; attempt to reduce or eliminate the need for physical restraint</li> </ul> <p dir="LTR">Administration (20%)</p> <ul> <li>Thoroughly complete all required paperwork on time in accordance with TFM requirements</li> <li>Diligently oversee medication administration according to agency policy and accurately maintain medication logs</li> <li>Meticulously maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility in compliance with regulations</li> <li>Continually maintain the academic structure within the facility</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required</li> <li>Previous leadership experience preferred</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Effective organization &amp; time management skills</li> <li>Candidates must be at least 21 years of age</li> <li>Valid driver's license with 6 points or less on driving record. 　</li> </ul> <p><em>At Firefly Children and Family Alliance, we are committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
