Responsibilities: <strong>Childcare Voucher Eligibility Determination (50%)</strong> <ul> <li>Sincerely help families applying for childcare assistance through interviews and document collection to determine eligibility.</li> <li>Precisely complete intakes for Childcare Voucher Program by obtaining required documentation and calculating relevant financial data including parent co-pay and subsidy levels.</li> <li>Diligently follow orientation procedures and facilitate to families regarding the rights, responsibilities and obligations of the program.</li> <li>Carefully analyze family needs to identify any special circumstances that require additional assistance.</li> <li>Maintain and follow wait-list procedures.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Childcare Voucher Recertification Support (50%)</strong> <ul> <li>Evaluate opportunities with other site locations in an integrated support team approach to identify and connect families with the best resources.</li> <li>Accommodate family needs and assist families in selecting appropriate providers, if requested.</li> <li>Thoroughly maintain orderly and complete records on families receiving assistance; monitor the progress of parents in the job search process.</li> <li>Precisely prepare, schedule and mail recertification letters.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>You have a High School Diploma or GED.</li> <li>Experience (paid, volunteer or internship) in greeting and interviewing a diverse population of customers in a service setting.</li> <li>Associate or Bachelor's degree a plus.</li> <li>Valid driver's license with valid insurance and no more than 6 points on driving record.</li> <li>Haitian Creole language skills are<strong>&nbsp;required.</strong></li> </ul> <br /> <h3><strong><em>At Firefly Children and Family Alliance, we are committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
