Responsibilities: <strong>Family Progress - Monitoring and Coaching (50%)<br /></strong><br /> <ul> <li>Coach collaboratively &ndash; maintaining a balance between teaching and serving.</li> <li>Visit each youth/family on a routine and 'pop in' schedule.</li> <li>Assist youth/families in achieving their goals.</li> <li>Provide education and support to youth/families.</li> <li>Provide transportation to youth/families.</li> <li>Attend court with clients and render recommendations.</li> <li>Communicate with schools and multiple institutions related to youth/family matters.</li> <li>Respond to all crisis calls and manage those situations.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Service Plans/Goal Development (20%)<br /><br /></strong> <ul> <li>Create plans, including goals, for each youth/family.</li> <li>Update plans and goals.</li> <li>Develop relationships with agencies in the community.</li> <li>Work with other social welfare agencies.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Intake and Needs Assessment (15%)<br /><br /></strong> <ul> <li>Determine 'crisis' situations.</li> <li>Visit each youth/family to gather necessary information to complete the assessment.</li> <li>Follow Firefly Children &amp; Family Alliance professional standards.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Report (15%)<br /><br /></strong> <ul> <li>Maintain case and agency paperwork according to standards.</li> <li>Prepare written reports for the Department of Child Services/Probation office within identified time frames.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in social work or related field is required. Case work in an LCPA plus.</li> <li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li> <li>A valid driver's license and insurance with no more than 6 points on driving record.</li> <li>Travel between appointments to service clients within their community.</li> <li>Knowledgeable regarding social service systems within the state.</li> <li>Knowledge of and adherence to current confidentiality practices.</li> <li>Appreciation for and ability to respond to cultural differences.</li> <li>Develop relevant networks of contacts.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <p><strong><em>At Firefly Children and Family Alliance, we are committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
