In this position, you will collaborate with our internal treatment team as well as community agencies to directly advocate for at-risk children and families, providing critical needs assessments, prevention and intervention services, and progress monitoring. You will also complete assessments for individuals referred for Domestic Violence services. Responsibilities: <p><strong>Family&nbsp;Progress&nbsp;-&nbsp;Monitoring&nbsp;and&nbsp;Coaching (40%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coach&nbsp;collaboratively&nbsp;&ndash; maintaining&nbsp;a&nbsp;balance between&nbsp;teaching&nbsp;and&nbsp;serving.</li> <li>Visit&nbsp;each&nbsp;youth/family&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;routine and&nbsp;'pop&nbsp;in'&nbsp;schedule.</li> <li>Assist&nbsp;youth/families&nbsp;in&nbsp;achieving&nbsp;their&nbsp;goals.</li> <li>Provide education&nbsp;and&nbsp;support&nbsp;to&nbsp;youth/families.</li> <li>Provide&nbsp;transportation&nbsp;to&nbsp;youth/families.</li> <li>Attend&nbsp;court with clients&nbsp;and&nbsp;render&nbsp;recommendations.</li> <li>Communicate&nbsp;with&nbsp;schools&nbsp;and&nbsp;multiple&nbsp;institutions&nbsp;related&nbsp;to youth/family&nbsp;matters.</li> <li>Respond&nbsp;to all crisis&nbsp;calls&nbsp;and&nbsp;manage those&nbsp;situations.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Service&nbsp;Plans/Goal&nbsp;Development&nbsp;(15%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Create&nbsp;plans,&nbsp;including&nbsp;goals,&nbsp;for&nbsp;each&nbsp;youth/family.</li> <li>Update&nbsp;plans&nbsp;and&nbsp;goals.</li> <li>Develop&nbsp;relationships&nbsp;with&nbsp;agencies&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;community.</li> <li>Work with&nbsp;other&nbsp;social&nbsp;welfare&nbsp;agencies.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Intake&nbsp;and&nbsp;Needs&nbsp;Assessment (30%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Determine&nbsp;'crisis'&nbsp;situations.</li> <li>Visit&nbsp;each&nbsp;youth/family&nbsp;to&nbsp;gather&nbsp;necessary&nbsp;information&nbsp;to complete&nbsp;the&nbsp;assessment.</li> <li>Follow&nbsp;Firefly&rsquo;s&nbsp;professional&nbsp;standards.</li> <li>Complete Domestic Violence Assessments and make recommendations.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Report&nbsp;(15%)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain&nbsp;case&nbsp;and&nbsp;agency&nbsp;paperwork&nbsp;according&nbsp;to&nbsp;standards.</li> <li>Prepare written reports for the Department of Child&nbsp;Services/Probation&nbsp;office within identified&nbsp;timeframes.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in social work or related field is required.</li> <li>Must be at least 21 years of age.</li> <li>A valid driver's license and insurance with no more than 6 points on driving record.</li> <li>Travel between appointments to service clients within their community.</li> <li>Knowledgeable regarding social service systems within the state.</li> <li>Knowledge of and adherence to current confidentiality practices.</li> <li>Appreciation for and ability to respond to cultural differences.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <h3><strong><em>At Firefly Children and Family Alliance, we are committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
