We are seeking a bold, visionary leader to help guide Prevention Services across Adams, Blackford, Delaware, Grant, Jay, Randolph, and Wells counties.</p> <p data-start="387" data-end="701">The Director will oversee both the Community Partners for Child Safety program and our Family Resource Centers. Responsibilities: <strong>Leadership (55%)</strong> <ul> <li>Ensure grantor/customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Ensure staff are meeting work product expectations.</li> <li>Hire, develop, hold accountable and if necessary, terminate program staff.</li> <li>Mentor staff through training, inspiration and encouragement.</li> <li>Hold staff accountable to service standards and ensure the processes are followed according to program standards.</li> <li>Oversee vendors to ensure client information, and inquiries are managed observing DCS goals and outcomes.</li> <li>Respond to crisis calls from program staff.</li> <li>Work within the structure of DCS Region and broker community relationships.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Relationship Development (25%)</strong> <ul> <li>Develop relationships &ndash; DCS, foster parents, mental health agencies, schools and community agencies.</li> <li>Collaborate and establish a referral network.</li> <li>Deliver educational presentations throughout the community to support recruitment.</li> <li>Market and sell the program through one-on-one interactions.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Financials (10%)</strong> <ul> <li>Oversee billing, budgets and contractual relationships within the program.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Reporting (10%)</strong> <ul> <li>Compile and analyze the data for recruitment and retention goals and outcomes.</li> <li>Maintain case and agency paperwork according to standards.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in social work or human services related field is required.</li> <li>A valid driver's license and proof of insurance with no more than 6 points on driving record.</li> <li>First Aid and CPR required, but can be obtained upon hire.</li> <li>Expert technology skills with mastery of entire Microsoft Suite including Internet and email.</li> <li>Knowledge of and adherence to current confidentiality practices.</li> <li>Appreciation for and ability to respond to cultural differences.</li> <li>Experience in child welfare and/or child abuse prevention is preferred.</li> </ul>
