Work location is subject to change based on business needs. <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About this Role:</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> A Sr. System Analyst works on the delivery team and reports to the Delivery Manager. This individual is responsible for working closely with the delivery team to define/refine user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria. The Systems Analyst collaborates with Product Owners and business stakeholders to research and validate requirements and ensure the delivery team has clarity regarding user stories and tasks. Looking for a candidate with excellent collaboration skills, a desire to work in a team atmosphere, and the ability to organize work and oversee through completion.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Understanding of business needs</li> <li>Ability to understand both Business and Technical requirements</li> <li>Create simple visual models or customer journeys to explain the context and functionality of user stories</li> <li>Ability to lead work breakdown exercises to create projects, epics, and stories</li> <li>Good presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills</li> <li>Leads or acts as chief technical contributor translating business requirements into technical specifications.</li> <li>Independently performs and assists other team members researching questions, solving problems, and participating in on-call rotation.</li> <li>Expected to learn assigned applications and understand how they integrate with other systems.</li> <li>Participate in the team planning process to ensure timely project completion.</li> <li>Help prioritize work with team or facilitate priority discussions to balance planned work versus request ticket queues</li> <li>Participate in ceremonies for projects such as performing demand assessments and progressive elaborations for team-led project size work</li> <li>Build and maintain Stakeholder business and technology relationships.</li> <li>May support multiple teams</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>Deep understanding of banking and financial intuitions</li> <li>At least 5 years of relevant experience supporting core credit card processing</li> <li>Business, Systems, or Program Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Project Management experience (1-3 years)</li> <li>Understanding and experience working in an Agile environment and Kanban or Scrum framework (1-3 years)</li> <li>Strong communication, facilitation, collaboration, and organizational skills</li> <li>Continuous improvement and demonstrated experience of improving process and teams</li> <li>Road mapping, story writing, backlog management, and release planning</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a technology-related discipline or equivalent experience is required</li> <li>Onsite/Remote designation is at Delivery Manager discretion</li> </ul>
