Work location is subject to change based on business needs. <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Summary of the Job:</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> As the Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a modernized Security Operations Program that ensures rapid response to evolving threats. You&rsquo;ll build a program designed to continuously evolve - making effective use of internal and external resources while contemplating future needs for efficiency, innovation and company growth. <br /><br />Ultimately, you are accountable for effectively orchestrating the logging, monitoring, alerting, escalation and response to cybersecurity events and incidents in support of the organization&rsquo;s information security strategy.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Leading 24x7x365 SOC function to ensuring optimal investigation, triage, containment, notification, recovery and forensics.</li> <li>Directing ongoing device and SIEM tuning to ensure all relevant logs are captured and alerting is continuously improved</li> <li>Collaborating and coordinating with Information Security leadership on Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalations and maturation of the SOC function</li> <li>Overseeing managed service provider relationship including daily operations, performance metrics, service level agreements and regular business reviews.</li> <li>Recruiting and hiring top tier internal SOC talent</li> <li>Developing and mentoring internal SOC team via open communication, training and development, and performance management; Establishing and growing morale and motivation</li> <li>Establishing a formal Security Operations Program with strategic roadmap, dashboard reporting and qualitative or quantitative measures of success</li> <li>Ensuring robust processes, procedures and playbooks are created and regularly updated</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong>The Ideal Candidate for This Role:</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>The ideal candidate has a true understanding of leadership with a people-first mentality and a passion for providing thought leadership in security operations delivery including driving automation, analytics, and advanced threat analysis.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Minimum Required Qualifications</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience designing, building or leading a Security Operations Center</li> <li>5+ years of experience leading information security engineering or operations teams</li> <li>Technical knowledge of network security, network hardware, protocols, and standards</li> <li>Working knowledge of SIEM technologies (e.g., Splunk, QRoC), SOC enablers (e.g., SOAR, XDR) and relevant frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&amp;CK, SOC-CMM)</li> <li>Incident management process development and/or incident management experience</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field OR equivalent work experience</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>CISSP, ITIL, SANS, CISM or equivalent certification</li> <li>Experience working in the financial services industry</li> <li>Experience working in a highly regulated environment</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Equity, Diversity, &amp; Inclusion:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>FNBO is committed to belonging, inclusion, diversity and equity.
