Work location is subject to change based on business needs. <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Summary of the Job:</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> Lead the daily operations of the FNO Research and Adjustments and DDA Risk teams. Monitor and sometimes create performance, production, and statistical analysis of daily workloads. Support the development and implementation of all policies, procedures, and technology enhancements. Ensure a consistent, positive, professional, and timely delivery of all objectives, budgets and business forecasts. Take the department a next step forward in improving our customer&rsquo;s experience.<br /><br />Training, monitoring, reporting and QA of staff on overdraft review and collections processes to meet standards and ensure regulatory compliance. Lead and train department staff on overdraft and collections processes. QA of processes to ensure regulatory compliant. Ongoing monitoring and tracking to identify gaps and potential for process efficiency.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Effectively apply Management Practices in planning and overseeing the work of assigned staff members.</li> <li>Assign and monitor daily workload priorities to meet or exceed established service level agreements with our customers, business partners while staying compliant with regulatory deadlines and processing.</li> <li>Assist Department Manager with building and maintaining a competent team through effective recruiting, selection, and development. <ul> <li>Ensure training and development opportunities address staff needs to meet the goals and objectives of assigned Role.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Conduct one-on-one employee meetings on a regularly scheduled basis to provide: <ul> <li>Coaching: To consistently meet and/or exceed the desired outputs for assigned Role.</li> <li>Feedback: With regard to production output, departmental policies/procedures, personnel issues, etc.</li> <li>Context Setting: Defining/Discussing the &ldquo;Big Picture&rdquo; with regard to current and future work.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Provide input to Manager&rsquo;s planning to enhance departmental effectiveness.</li> <li>Provide input with regard to technology/systems utilized in support departmental accuracy, speed and efficiency.</li> <li>Develop and maintain a set of performance metrics that drive and define successful performance. <ul> <li>Monitor, track and develop reporting as scheduled by Manager.&nbsp;</li> </ul> </li> <li>Assist in Daily MDI (Measuring for Daily Improvement) huddles and lead weekly Problem-Solving huddles.&nbsp; Training will be provided.</li> <li>Must be able to show flexibility between the two teams under this Department Lead role.&nbsp;</li> <li>Quality Assurance practices for both teams must be met</li> <li>Attendance at Compliance meetings, after training, will be required.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure subordinates are trained and comply with bank policy, laws and regulations applicable to their roles.</li> <li>Monitor subordinates&rsquo; adherence to internal controls and take action to address employee performance issues timely.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure Course related compliance training is completed timely and if not, actions are taken to ensure completion.</li> <li>Understand and adhere to all bank policy, laws and regulations applicable to role.</li> <li>Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.</li> <li>Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in the FNNI Compliance Accountability Program.</li> <li>Understand and comply with the Bank's BSA/AML Program, which includes, but is not limited to the following:</li> <li>Complying with the Bank's Customer Identification Program and Customer Due Diligence Policy;</li> <li>Identifying, monitoring and reporting suspicious activity;</li> <li>Completing BSA/AML training in a timely manner as directed by management;</li> <li>Ensure direct reports meet the above requirements, if applicable.</li> <li>Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships.</li> <li>Complete special projects as assigned within allotted time frames.</li> <li>Exercise a willingness to be a resource to colleagues.</li> <li>Practice FNO values and support the goals and strategic plan.</li> <li>Be proactive and respectful in all relationships.</li> <li>Maintain constructive working relationships.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
