Overview: The Field Marketing Manager, reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Marketing, is responsible for planning, organizing and executing regional programs, localized campaigns, account-based marketing efforts and events that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team. The Field Marketing Manager is the liaison between marketing and regional sales teams as well as partners.&nbsp; Field marketing develops and assists in the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans including inbound and outbound tactics This position interacts with all departments, levels and functions of the company, and manages vendor/partner contracts and relationships and oversees local office managers in the markets when they assist in the implementation of marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>In partnership with the Regional Sales Vice Presidents, develop and implement field-related pipeline acceleration programs in concert with sales, including, but not limited to, regional product promotions, events, industry-specific programs and local speaking engagements.</li> <li>Localize national campaigns to meet region-specific needs.</li> <li>Establish an accounts marketing based model with focus on prioritizing select accounts in region and delivering thought leadership, demand generation, sales enablement and market intelligence</li> <li>Develop and implement regional marketing plans covering all appropriate channels to create brand awareness and pipeline activation work across the various marketing functions to leverage organic and paid social, SEM, SEO, email, events and PR as appropriate.</li> <li>Research, select, design and manage virtual and live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix.</li> <li>Plan and execute cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates.</li> <li>Act as the liaison and central point of contact into the marketing organization for the sales community you support</li> <li>Forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of field programs.</li> <li>Manage and report on regional program budget.</li> <li>May serve on special project teams as needed.</li> <li>Travel required, up to 30-40%</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; 3+ years of marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Experience building and coordinating event exhibits, managing speaking engagements, organizing meetings for sales and creating small-but-meaningful personalized events.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage a large number of national and regional events annually.</li> <li>Experience with live event communications planning and execution.</li> <li>Experience working with sales teams and integrating programs to drive awareness and demand for the company.</li> <li>Ability to work and manage cross-functionally across geographic regions with tight coordination and execution.</li> <li>Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements.</li> <li>Ability to align tactical plans to strategies.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, making and keeping commitments and meeting deadlines.</li> <li>Understanding of Salesforce CRM, marketing automation tools and execution of marketing tactics including drip campaigns.</li> <li>Self-starter, self-directed and independent thinker.</li> <li>Capable of developing strong relationships, both internal and external, in supporting strategic marketing initiatives.</li> <li>Planning/project management</li> <li>Leadership and initiative to drive business objectives</li> <li>Partner/Vendor management</li> <li>Ability to understand decision impact on other areas of the business</li> <li>Strong oral/written communication skills</li> <li>Strong consultative marketing approach to effectively engage with sales and channel partner community.</li> <li>Understands how to use social media in an overall B2B demand creation approach</li> <li>Ability to direct content building required for complex demand creation</li> <li>Can learn quickly and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment</li> </ul>
