Flexential&rsquo;s robust suite of assets spans 21 domestic and international markets and comprises 41 highly redundant and connectivity-rich data centers.</p> <p dir="LTR">Investing in our people, we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Compensation Manager in the Charlotte area to join our team!&nbsp;</p> The role of the sales compensation manager includes both tactical and strategic responsibilities related to the sales commission process, plan administration, commission payments, and managing the partner payment program.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Managing monthly sales commission and agent commission calculation and payment processes</li> <li>Calculating and updating monthly accounting accruals</li> <li>Providing audit, analysis and insight to the program accuracy and effectiveness</li> <li>Ongoing maintenance to all employee records, position details, quotas and commission components</li> <li>Analysis and input for the annual planning process</li> <li>Preparation and distribution of compensation documents and statements</li> <li>Communication and training of plan design</li> <li>Research and resolution of moderately complex commission questions and issues</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (accounting background preferred)</li> <li>At least 5 years of experience with sales compensation</li> <li>A strong understanding of sales compensation strategies and best practices</li> <li>Experience in technology industry and recurring revenue model preferred</li> <li>Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives</li> <li>Sophisticated communication skills</li> <li>Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations</li> <li>Experience with Salesforce.com and sales payment automation systems (Xactly implemented today)</li> <li>Experience with analytic and BI platforms (Tableau, Qliksense ideally)</li> <li>Demonstrated understanding of the discretion and confidentiality required to work in the compensation field</li> </ul>
