Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Coordinates resident care through departmental and appropriate staff committee meetings</li> <li>Ensures that staffing is adequate to meet State and Federal requirements</li> <li>Guides nursing department in adherence to all state and federal regulations</li> <li>Evaluates and disciplines nursing personnel according to HCF policy</li> <li>Supervises the maintenance of nursing and medical treatments and related services executed by nursing personnel</li> <li>Participates in the QA process</li> <li>Ensures availability of nursing supplies and equipment</li> <li>Assumes responsibility for maintaining his/her own professional competence</li> <li>Verifies that the nursing personnel have valid and current licenses as required by the State in which they work</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. Current license as a Registered Nurse with the State Board of Nursing.
