Responsibilities: <strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Must be capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and communicating problems and options to the customer.</li> <li>Ability to perform all electrical repairs and replacements to code.</li> <li>Be capable of performing a thorough and accurate electrical inspection and communicate findings to the customer.</li> <li>Ability to complete paperwork legibly.</li> <li>Ability to communicate with dispatcher (debriefing, phone, text, email, etc.).</li> <li>Ability to perform calculations necessary for electrical work as well as calculations necessary for invoicing purposes.</li> <li>Must be comfortable asking for payment and collecting money and getting financing approved for customers.</li> <li>Must comply with all safety standards and processes.</li> <li>Must be responsible to follow up on calls as needed.</li> <li>Must present a professional image by arriving on time, wearing company uniforms, and being neat and well groomed.</li> <li>Perform after-hours work and on-call duty as scheduled.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Knowledge and Skills</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.</li> <li>Knowledge of applicable electrical codes.</li> <li>Problem solving and decision making skills</li> <li>Effective verbal, listening, and communications skills</li> </ul> <strong>Personal Attributes</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Honesty and trustworthiness</li> <li>Respectful attitude</li> <li>Sound work ethic</li> </ul> <strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Currently licensed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.</li> <li>Minimum of 4 years engaged in, or working at, the actual installation, alteration, repair, service and renovation of electrical systems,</li> <li>Valid Texas driver&rsquo;s license.</li> </ul> <strong>Working Environment:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment, bending, standing, climbing, frequent kneeling and significant fine motor dexterity. Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the electrical trade.</li> </ul>
