Competitive Compensation and Benefits Package

Overview: As an ARMHS Mental Health Practitioner, you would provide in-home skills services to adults with special needs and mental health needs. You will assist clients in setting goals and implementing objectives and interventions so that the individual is able to accomplish their goals and function independently in the community.<br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li><strong>Diagnoses:&nbsp;</strong>Anxiety, Depression, SMI (severe mental illness), Autism, Bipolar <ul> <li>Many clients have co-occurring intellectual and developmental disabilities with their mental health diagnosis</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Caseload:</strong>&nbsp;Meet clients in their homes or in the community; client sessions last between 1-2 hours and may meet multiple times per week, depending on client needs.<br /> <ul> <ul> <li>Many clients receive other Fraser services (i.e. adults in group homes, independent living and supportive living)</li> </ul> </ul> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>At least 2000 hours (1 year) of experience working with adults with mental illness required; 1 year+ experience preferred</li> <li>Bachelor's in Mental Health / Psychology field preferred</li> <li>Previous experience developing and contributing to a treatment plan for clients</li> <li>Demonstrated respect for and sensitivity to family and cultural issues</li> <li>Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities highly preferred</li> <li>Valid Minnesota driver&rsquo;s license, acceptable record, and access to reliable vehicle&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to pass DHS background check</li> <li>Highly independent and ability to take self initiative, as this position is community based and independent in nature</li> <li>Effective communication skills</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Location:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Based out of Fraser Bloomington, but this role is primarily virtual and/or community based</li> <li>Will be traveling to clients based in Anoka County and the NW metro.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Fraser offers:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Compensation is consistent and you receive mileage reimbursement even when clients cancel or no-show</li> <li>Mileage at 58 cents per mile</li> <li>Competitive compensation and benefits package</li> <li>We schedule your clients for you, so you can focus on working with clients&nbsp;</li> <li>Scheduled performance feedback &amp; opportunity for pay raises based on performance</li> <li>Work-life balance is important; Fraser offers generous paid time off</li> <li>Childcare discount at Fraser School</li> <li>Referral bonuses</li> <li>Fraser cellphone and laptop for work purposes</li> <li>Verizon Wireless cell phone plan and accessories discount</li> </ul> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monday- Friday&nbsp;regular business hours. <ul> <li>Minimum two days until 6pm; the other days will be until 5pm.</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
