Part-Time

Overview: <p>Apply for a Clinical Practicum with Fraser if you are currently enrolled in a PsyD or Ph.D. program and need therapy or testing/assessment hours. Doctoral level practicums are offered in our Neuropsychology and Evaluations programs. The practicum/clinical experience intends to prepare students in training to deliver high-quality services with lasting outcomes through clinical services to children from birth through early adulthood. At Fraser, we utilize a wide variety of evidence-based interventions and allow you to participate in consultation and collaboration within Fraser as well as with referral sources and other community agencies and partners.</p> <p>We provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to children and adolescents between the ages of 0 and 18 who present with a wide range of mental health and neurodevelopmental (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, language disorders, specific learning disabilities) and neurologic disorders (e.g., seizure disorders, traumatic brain injury, genetic disorders, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders).</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Neuropsychology</strong></p> <ul> <li>Testing only</li> <li>Focuses on neurodevelopment and neurological disorders</li> </ul> <p><strong>Assessment/Advanced</strong></p> <ul> <li>Testing and assessment</li> <li>Low outpatient therapy load (if needed/desire)</li> <li>Focuses on a wide range of Autism/Mental Health diagnosis</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Locations are to be determined based on supervision and availability.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Internship Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Enrolled in Doctoral (Ph.D., PsyD) program and utilizing this clinical level experience to fulfill school credit</li> <li>General availability between the hours of 8 am-6 pm</li> <li>Available 16-24 hours/week</li> <li>Previous experience with children preferred, but not required</li> </ul>
