As a leading provider of Mental Health and Autism Services in the Midwest, we serve clients with a broad range of needs and diagnoses from birth through adulthood</strong>.</p> <p>Right now, we are searching for an&nbsp;EHR Database Manager who is responsible for the management of Fraser&rsquo;s electronic health records systems, including day-to-day support, ongoing upgrades, documentation, data quality, and collaborates with others in regards to end user training.&nbsp;This position will be responsible for analyzing the needs and requests of users and help design, build, test, and deploy dashboards.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>DATA OVERSIGHT/REPORTING/ANALYTICS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Works with staff, supervisors, leadership and partners to help define and create a data environment that supports measurement and benchmarking, reporting and decision-making, clinical outcomes and cost benefit of services.</li> <li>Maintain workflows. Analyze, design, configure, educate and support the implementation of those requirements.</li> <li>Assist in maintaining effective data analysis and public reporting policies; supports strategic goals; and assists in collaborative relationships with all stakeholders according to the goals and objectives of Fraser.</li> <li>Proficient with a variety of reporting tools: may include: Crystal, Access, Excel, SQL, others.</li> </ul> <p><strong>DATABASE MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop requirements, test new functionality to ensure that it meets the operational requirements, and bring to EHR governance for approval.</li> <li>Ensure application updates follow best practice change control procedures.</li> <li>Perform basic and advanced troubleshooting and problem replication in order to identify and verify underlying cause of errors and customer related problems.</li> <li>Perform technical tasks in support of database maintenance, application development, data entry, and QA work.</li> <li>Manages risks, issues and changes to EHR; and participates in developing and maintaining vendor relationships to ensure optimal EHR database configuration and management.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>COMMUNICATION:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate proactive communication with providers and key stakeholders across the organization.</li> <li>Ensures consistent communication of system changes across all departments that are both involved and affected by the change process.</li> </ul> <p><strong>SUPERVISION:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide supervision and support to EHR staff.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Fraser Offers:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborative and relationship-oriented culture</li> <li>Scheduled performance feedback</li> <li><strong>Career growth opportunities</strong></li> <li>Opportunities for community involvement in Fraser organized events</li> <li><strong>Work-life balance is important; Fraser offers generous paid time off to those employed full time + Holiday Pay&nbsp;</strong></li> <li>Benefits (available to employees working 30 or more hours per week)</li> <li>403(b) retirement account with Fraser contribution</li> <li>Childcare discount at Fraser School</li> <li><strong>Referral bonuses</strong></li> <li>Verizon Wireless cell phone plan and accessories discount</li> </ul> <p><strong>Location and Schedule:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hybrid/Remote Bloomington, MN&nbsp;</li> <li>Monday - Friday standard business hours&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>BA/BS in computer science or business administration or related field preferred. Associate Degree and related experience.</li> <li>Three years of experience with databases and Microsoft Office applications. Database maintenance and oversight experience in a medical and/or nonprofit environment preferred. Ability to develop and modify database applications.&nbsp;</li> <li>Three years of experience statistical analysis and reporting.</li> <li>Experience in managing an Electronic Health Record system is preferred.</li> <li>Experience working in behavioral health organizations is preferred.&nbsp;</li> <li>Commitment to promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion with focus on culturally responsive practice, internal self-awareness and reflection.</li> </ul>
